Ensuring Long-Term Sustainability
To face the challenges of an ever-changing business climate, non profit organizations need strategic planning and organizational development to remain competitive. This process requires well-planned, well-executed process improvement and performance management initiatives. Brighter Strategies acts as a facilitator and utilizes a holistic approach that evaluates all facets of your situation and provides cost-effective and efficient actions to produce exceptional results.
Together, we identify your goals, articulate your mission and core competencies, and decide your priority needs. Then, the Brighter Strategies team conducts research and analysis to better understand your current situation. We determine the key people in your organization who are critical to building an effective solution, and we use assessment tools, such as The Balanced Scorecard, Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, to provide the most appropriate solutions.
We use the results from our research, analysis, and discussions with your leadership team to design an action plan, which details the steps we will take to address your organization’s needs, meet your goals, and improve performance.
The organizational improvements detailed in the plan begin. We use targeted communications and other initiatives to build ‘buy in’ with key stakeholders and facilitate change as the new solution is implemented. As changes are made, we suggest ways to evaluate the plan’s effectiveness.
We analyze our progress on key metrics to confirm that the expected improvements and results have taken place. In cases where the full results have not yet been achieved, we re-evaluate the changes implemented and suggest new action items to achieve the desired results.
Six months after the plan is implemented, we use performance metrics to assess the plan’s results and determine if things are progressing as expected and if your goals have been met. We also decide if any new issues need to be addressed, and we discuss what, if any, additional steps the organization needs to take to remain on track and achieve its goals.
